RE: What Skills Do You Need To Succeed On Steemit?

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

Also there is this 20-80 principle, explained by Tim Ferriss in his book '4 Hour Work Week' which can be applied to our content or products as well. 20% of our content produces the most income for us, while the 80% doesn't.

Similarly I read only about 20% of the posts in my'home' feed, and I am glad to read this post. Thanks for that story of the 4 years kids, I think I am more among the ones who eat early, but I expect myself to change.
And yes, you have made your point very well, time and money are not linearly related, but it works as you explained with the cashflow quadrant.

I have read the book 'Rich Dad Poor Dad,' as well, yet thanks for reminding the wonderful message it gave.

I recently did a post about the 20-80 principle titled, Do You Know What The 80 20 Rule Is? - Why You Should Make A Steemit Post Every Day Regardless Of Your Rewards

In it, you'll read the discussion continue more on the subject, especially in the comments.

Nice post. So did you make 300 wordpress sites? Or is it I understood something wrong?
I am new here, yet my few observations are same till now. I think I have found my niches, but still the amount of responses vary everyday, even if the posts are inin the same category, such as music.

I did make over 300 wordpress sites.

This is also known as the Pareto principle (80/20 rule).

Essentially, Pareto showed that approximately 80% of the land in Italy was owned by 20% of the population; Pareto developed the principle by observing that about 20% of the peapods in his garden contained 80% of the peas.

Yes Pareto principle. Thanks for sharing the fun fact about peapods.
