Y esterday I sat with a small group of people here in Bali who needed my assistance & for 2 hours I did my best to cover the basics.
I provide a bunch of information, a few personal tips of my own and some slightly amusing interactions with my friends :)
I recorded it all and edited the film down to what I believe to be the most useful bits.
A problem was quickly established as something which needs a solution asap
It is not as easy to join this site as it should be!
@michaelvagas was unable to join during this session despite following the guidelines. I believe many potential Steemers will be put off by this. There are no other sites I know of where you have to wait in a queue to become a member.

Sounds like you're having trouble understanding your audience. I've noticed a few times where the foreign gentleman asked you a question,then you answered it halfway. Example, in the beginning he askes about auto voter, he asked if you are using an application software or if it is done thru the steemit website. You just said, yes. I Wouldn'tbe surprised if he gave you a strange look.
In truth I was indeed struggling to understand everything that was being asked of me. It is not apparent in the film but there were five guys with me and sometimes they were all talking at the same time. The beers being offered to me probably didn't help much either!
I would like to do more of these films, perhaps with just one person - rather than 5! Do you feel as if Autovoting is a subject I need to cover in more detail?

I think the queue waiting is because it is still in Beta. Once its out of Beta I would expect faster signup (hopefully).

you should definitely do it regularly, especially for new users like me, currently I am trying to figure out the communities, and audience, trending subjects, and how to start to blog that will stand out among hundreds of it, I don't want to ask and beg for upvotes, or follows. But some topics seems like are dead end, there is no audience.

I totally agree, this post has proven to be extremely useful to us newbz...I appreciate you taking the time to write it up. I am constantly hearing about the hard fork can anyone explain that to me.
It basically just means a change to the system. Steemit is still in beta. So things are being adjusted all the time.

Well, before any investment you first should try to know what are you investing in, I pick projects that look promising like Golem (decentralized cloud storage), projects that solve real problems, that have good market capitalization, that have a solid team of developers. For example, Steemit looks extremely promising.
It's important that you understand your investing style, for example, intra-day, short, mid, long-term. if you gonna short or whatever you gonna do and then you stick to the plan you made in cold and embrace the market as it comes.
as for keeping an eye and check behavior, I use blockfolio its an amazing app and really simple to use.
right now is a good time since the market is really tense due to the USAF on bitcoin so everything is kinda cheap now.
im starting on steemit and i would love all possible advice you can give me and if you wanna talk about trading reach me whenever you want :)
