Yesterday I did a little campaign on Steemit and I got over 25 students of University of Uyo, in akwa ibom state, Nigeria registered and the top two questions I got from most of the people I told about Steemit was:

1. How many times can I post in a day?

The recommended number of times to post on Steemit is 4. Four valuable contents. Below is a screenshot of reward you'll get for making 4 post.

other awards you can get

  • The different awards you can get are
  1. Monthly author awards: you get this award when you post everyday for one month.

  2. 200 post award: you get this award when your total post equals 200

  3. 200 replies award: you get this when you hit a total of 200 replies.

There are lots of awards to get, just visit http://steemitboard.com/welcome.html and fill in your username.

2. what can I post on Steemit?

You can absolutely anything on Steemit.com. All you need to do is just tag your post properly and you're good to go. (check my blog to see some other guidelines https://steemit.com/@samstickkz).

Steemit is a social network like Facebook and Twitter but pays you when you post and get likes to do what you've already been doing for free on Facebook and Twitter.

People think you have to do something special or have a programming skill or be one very good hacker to earn on Steemit, because "why should a social network just pay me?", they ask.

You don't need any special skills, the skills you need on Steemit, you've already gotten them through Facebook and Twitter.

  1. Resteem = retweet (Twitter) = share (Facebook)
  2. Upvote = love(Twitter) = like on Facebook

So just get registered and start earning.

3.where does the money on Steemit come from?

I'll just drop a video by bitspace to explain. This was one of the first videos I watched about "where the money comes from"
