As the year began @airhawk-project with @samest and other facilitator will be helping minnow on ways to made it on steemit. Although there are many information regarding guideline to successful blogging on steemit, follow my little tips on STEEMIT DIARY.
Late last night i took a lecture on proper timing and other tips on airhawkproject telegram group to show minnow how to write properly and earn on steemit.
Let quickly read through some detailed information:
DIARY SHEET 1
As newbies on steemit community know that clicking post on your submit a story page will launch your post to be sent to new section( section of the tag you have typed on the tagging column) and get this knowledge that the post will also go to the feed of your followers.
Newbies is not a crime if you dont have followers now but as continue posting quality post follower will find you but note this at the moment you have about 5 to 60minutes to make your money upvote, how you go about thing I will give a little guide and also recommend some users that will help you out. As a newbies if the quality of your post is okay and you are fortunate your post make like $3 or above, the algorithm in steemit community will catapult your post to HOT section. In continuity on the process, some post hit like $50 to like $90 with upvotes from like 90 to 120 users the post will move to the section called TRENDINg SECTION and at this junction the post will invite many followers and also result to lots of earning.
LESSON TO LEARN FROM ABOVE
The most important thing is to learn how to make your post move to hot section anytime you are posting. From my engagement I noticed that #steem will always move up post that generate money upvotes, therefore do this following when posting:
- Make your title attractive: As for @samest I may not be too good in this area but if you get it right in titling your post with attracting topic, users will quickly rush your post and get you to hot section.
Image Display: Make your image upload professional and relative to your post.
Tag correctly: posting may be with good quality but tagged wrongly. It is important to know that your first tag is of utmost important to affect your post. Let your tag relative to the content of your post. As newbies make sure your tags is always 5 in number at all times, especially if you don't have big following.
Timely posting: Yes you tag correctly, the next is to post at the right time. You need to ask yourself who are the steemit user you are targeting and whats there timezone, this will go a long way to affect your upvotes/earning.
As newbies don't be surprise if your earning is dropping, this usually occur when you post did not make it to Hot section it will drop in value quick and if care is not taking you may ended with very little payout of 0.01 or 0.02
What is the Best Post Timing
From the little research i made, i find out that the geography of the users base on the countries on steemit is high on the English speaking countries and if any steemian is writing in English this needs to be considered. The highest users comes from USA, UK and Canada respectively. I learnt that Germany, Australia, Korea also have traffic on steemit but newbies needs to know who they are targeting when posting and this will determine when to post.
If your focus is on English speaking countries them make sure your post is released between the hour of 6PM +GMT to 1AM +GMT. This is the hour most of this users are awake and visit steemit community.
It will be interesting to post at this golden hour for good earning and upvotes.
Newbies Introduce Yourself
An introduce yourself post should be taking seriously for all newbies. This is as a result of good earning. From experience I noticed this said post do have a lot attention in the community and many were paid directly for this post into there wallets.
It is of utmost importance to do the following when posting your first post which is introduce myself:
Picture of your that is of high quality.
Your major interest: Example : I like playing poker game etc
Say an interesting/wonderful thing about yourself but make it short but not too short.
Be professional in your post.
