Hello steemit friends! Today I wanted to talk about something extremely important. Our steemit password. Without it, you cannot access our accounts therefore, we won't be able to withdraw our hard earned $$.
Why is the password so damn long?
From my own point of view, I think the reason why the steemit password is very long is to avoid hackers from accessing your account. I don't think anybody can guess a steemit password. Why? Because you just can't! It is a combination of numbers, capital letters, and small letters. So only you know your password and it isn't something that you can memorise. Hello, that's not possible. And that's why you need a safe place to write it down.
What will happen if I forget my password?
Nothing. Just go and start crying. Steemit is not like twitter, Facebook or Instagram where you can reset your password. That is not possible.(well, for now). When you forget your password, you will be locked out of your account. Forever! That means all the reputation you built, your followers, your MONEYYY will be taken away from you. And I am sure you don't want that to happen to you.
OK Rumaisah, where can I save my password?
After giving it thousands of thought, I came up with a safest place. Your email account. Yes you heard me right. Your email's inbox.
And why did I say that?
I know you guys could write the down in your diary or a book or save it in your phones notepad or even in your computer folder but what if the book goes missing,or your phone was stolen or your computer had a problem and they need to reset it ???? Yeah, you didn't think of that, did you?
So if you want to keep your password safe and save yourself from running mad when you lose it, I advice you to mail it to your primary email address(the one that you know you just can't forget the password). I know most of us have more than one password so just use one to mail it to the other one. Simple. And if you have only one (who does that though?) ,Then you can copy and paste it into your draft. Easy as ABC.
So guess who won't lose their password? Anybody who just did what I advised them to. Stay woke and smart.
That brings us to the end of this post if you like it,just do the usual.
-UPVOTE(c'mon let me make some cents)
