Pretty deep. Great intros to all articles cited.
I think you made your point; there is more to discover however; so I'd say we all have some creative input into "what is Steemit".
yep. we are all participants in the co-creation to that answer... ;-)
Nice Post :)
Nuff Said @rok-sivante
ALWAYS enjoys your post!
Keep STEEM N ON,
Frank
P.S. I will be digging into the rest of these dirty dozens...
Resteem...
👊
Greatly put together curation post @rok-sivante ! Awesome awesome work! Did not have the time to go through all the posts, but that's why I made sure to RESTEEM it so it will be saved on my blog for me to enjoy! Thank you
Your welcome.
Very, very timely post. Getting all kinds of 'distressed' newbies asking for help, I will certainly point them to this post
Awesome, glad to hear.
Hello.. I am very new to Steemit.. to cryptocurrency period. I read alot on this & went deeper. I found it very interesting! I do challenge you on the ease of readability. I was taught with this day and age people don't have time to read paragraphs upon paragraphs... and to make things short & sweet & to the point. Maybe this is what I'm doing wrong with the Steemit crowd? Can't wait to learn more so I can succeed in the Steemit world! 😍❤
As in, you found some of the stuff to be too long? I could be guilty at times.
Generally, yes - short and sweet works best.
Learn... and then practice, practice, practice...
This is interesting. One of my favorite parts was when you warned about getting stuck focusing on the dollar sign at the bottom. I think metric to use is engagement. Am I getting more upvotes and comments over time? I continue to build and I'm inspired by creating content, then this is the right thing to do.
Thanks for so many quality articles. I read all of them.
I think that is another important concept. The quality of connections is more important than the quantity. I read to learn because I'm curious. I don't speed read to comment asap to get on to the next article. Presence. Integrity. Authenticity. The rest will follow.
Cheers. Thanks again for all the time you've spent adding these articles.
Your welcome. Your feedback is appreciated.
And sometimes, you just need to throw metrics out the window and focus on what can't be measured - whether our own satisfaction or how it impacts others based on their feedback... ;-)
That's a good point. Right now my gut tells me this feels right. There's a lot of positive learning and sharing on Steemit. I'm proud to be a part of it.
Nice Post i like it @rok-sivante :)
This is very nice article . This article touches my heart.
💖
Have saved this to read in detail - as a newbie, this is just what we need! Thank you.
Your welcome. 💖
@ rok-sivante71 I appreciate this post, because its unique in its own way just like your writing/creativity when it comes making the material you do. You got my 100% upvote and re-steem.
rok-sivante, as a newbie, I found your article extremely helpful. I am still wandering at times but thanks to people like you and articles like this, I am slowly getting there. Now following you and resteeming this article in hopes more will take the time to read it in it's entirety.
:-)
Nice post with creative article...I think you have more creative communication skills and written skill...wel done @rok-sivante great work resteemed
:-)
I'm going to plug this post into the back of my head. Maybe when I'm done, I'll know Kung Fu?
😎
Great post, very encouraging to all newbies.
This is my 5th week on steemit and i'm still learning now. I still don't feel ready to create much but i am practising my writing skills by commenting on posts . I was new to cryptocurrencies and blockchains and knew virtually nothing on the subject. In the last month since joining steemit i've learned an incredible amount of new knowledge and i can't wait to learn more.
Cool. Just don't stay too long in the learning phase - the most effective learning is always done in the practice... ;-)
Good advice,i've done 2 original ones today.
Well i've tried anyway.
Quite a wealth of resources you have listed there @rok-sivante. I truly thank you for digging and finding these for the community. I just got through reading https://steemit.com/steemit/@rok-sivante/the-top-5-reasons-you-will-fail-miserably-on-steemit-or-how-to-rock-your-rewards-like-a-pro and it was pretty spot-on. While I would like to think people care about my opinion, it's more of the raw, unadulterated emotion that draws people in. Conveying your personality is hard to do in a blog, but I may have to work on sharing my personality a bit more.
Your welcome.
Hard to do, sometimes.... but as they say, "practice, practice, practice..."
Thanks @rok-sivante :)
Your welcome.
Lots of reading ahead . I see why this post made the HOT list .
Upvoted and RESTEEMED :]
This is hands down one of the most useful posts I've seen on Steemit. Thanks for doing this. I am bookmarking this page and will be back to read each and every one of the 12 posts you've so highly recommended and given your own opinion about the takeaway involved. Through this kind of a curation, you are not only exposing the newbies to great authors and their content but also guiding us on the quality of posts expected. Cheers! - @sandzat
P.S: Please take some time to check out the last post on my blog. It's a bit long and simply written, but it's heartfelt and about the role of Steemit in my life and about all the people who matter to me, including you.
Your welcome. And thank you for the feedback...
This post is a great help.
Bork!
Just getting my feet wet with Steemit and this is a huge help! Thanks for pulling it all together.

This is an amazing roundup! Thank you! :)
Got here from the post that spoke about the one rule newbies must follow for steemit success. The posts here are going to be my reading material for the weekend! Thank you for sharing.
I can't believe I just found this post some minutes ago. What have I been doing all these while? I guess I've been living in a cave with the Neanderthals :)
Even though I'm not really a newbie, I find this post comparatively helpful. I wish I saw this when I started my steemit journey
ha ha. content tends to get buried quick here. this is one of my fav's to link for newbies, though... :-)
Hope you wouldn't mind if I share the link with some of my friends? They will surely need it for their steemit journey too
of course, go ahead! :-)
It's an honour buddy

In the meantime, I guess it's just bookmarking in your browser...
Thank you for the outpouring of knowledge to us. Although this post has been a few months ago, but still relevant to read until now.
Glad you invested the time reading it (and hopefully all the linked articles).
It's definitely one I continually recommend for newbies, as there are some great pointers in here... :-)
