Transparency = Positive | Privacy = Negative | Don't Get Warped By Connotation

Although modern social media has programmed us to appreciate the word privacy...don't consider steemit as having none. Transparency is a beautiful thing, and true decentralization will only come when we don't need barriers and can enhance our trust. When everyone can see everything: there is no need to lie, steal, cheat, and those that are greedy will be seen as just that.

..this is how it should be on all social media. When someone shows appreciation and gratitude by in essence blessing you with their wealth, it brings new meaning to actually liking something and relaying just that.

So many people are on steemit now, and honestly it almost feels like a lottery having a whale see you, like your post, and in essence grant your post worth. The ability to not only save and invest from posting on steemit is just remarkable, and hopefully soon I will be able to attain those levels. I created this account a long time ago, and honestly I just keep finding my plateau...which sucks, because I am on Facebook everyday and I don't even like it. With steemit you see carefully thought out posts which are highly detailed and convey a true sense of lifestyle and personality. I envy those who stuck with the platform day in and day out, I have been more here and there but I used steemit even when I wasn't actively upvoting and posting. I think it's pretty awesome that you don't even have to be a part of steemit to see what it's truly about... when you think about it sites like Twitter and Facebook are practically covered by a Log In wall, with no log in you can't see the material people are tweeting.

Steemit is perfection..steem on!
