riensen's iOS App Approved by Apple is a Lie! and Misleading!

in #steemit8 years ago (edited)

You can not say your app is approved by apple unless your app is on the app store! Test Flight is a beta testing channel which DOES NOT need Apple's approval and without going through the real review process.

I am refering to this post: [STEEM iOS APP] Announcement: First Native iOS App Released (Approved by Apple) – beta download available

So, technically the app is NOT approved by Apple yet!

It also says that it is "The First Steem iOS App runs natively on the Steem Blockchain". I don't think the app is running on block chain. Please prove that the app is running on block chain.

I went to the Github and downloaded the code. The code is uploaded to Github without .xcodeproj nor .xcworkspace file. This is basically the job of an amateur iOS Developer who does not really knows how to use Git.

I just can not believe that everyone has up voted the post without First verifying if the iOS app is real or otherwise.

The simplest way to verify if it is a real iOS app that has been approved by Apple is asking for the iOS App store link!

If he can not produce the app store link, he is lying.

I am a real iOS Developer with over 5 years of experience. I know what I am saying.

Sort:

And really the problem of this is not even the accuse spreading crap abou you without even having the facts or knowing how a app store release works

Its about the community and the system

The community is replicating many of the problems found on other social networks , like the jumping on the bandwagon mentality and flamming that reddit is notorius for , and the sort of elitism and ambient of distrust of bitcoin talk that is si unwelcoming and makes it a pain to trade and start projects

And also the system can be improved , and the money part can work in its favor or against it , in this case netting 1k to the troll for jumping on a popular post and discrediting the author without facts

Lol, Lying is more lucrative than working.

Welcome to the STEEM economy.

hey, I'm an App Developer as well, but I'm quite new in Swift. Let me know which apps you created already (in the app store)? Interested to hear more about you :)
And I agree, your App has to be approved yet otherwise it makes no sense to approve it in such a big manner. But I'm excited to see a Steemit App, I heard an Android version is already out, but since I'm an iphone user I still have to wait

I searched for this app in the app store earlier, it's not there.

Edit. I should have read the other link.

I love STEEMIT... oooh.. me too! is not impressive? yes yes yes yes yes!

I didn't vote that post for these reasons. I thought I may have been acting paranoid but I'm glad to see I'm not the only one. Good post. Way to ensure quality content is being posted!

Great post, people need to read before they upvote.
