Unfortunately some of life's truisms are true on here.. "ponzi scheme" doesn't really fit.. the site pays you - not the other way around..

True - actually was more think of Multi Level Marketing
Yes and no.. to make a vote count someone has to have Steem Power (put their money at risk).. The recipient of the award doesnt require any investment at all.. Unlike some of the popular MLM programs.. its a unique beast.
