So interesting points! Now, I have some people that asked me about the referral link for steemit. It would be a great option, but as you said, we would have so many spammer everywhere posting their referral link and making people to annoy.
For now, I prefer not to have referral because, I could understand that steemit is a place where you can earn, but this is just an option. Many people write, just because they want to make comments or talk about some topics that in others social medias, could be irrelevant, and are not interested in earnings. On the other hand, if we get a referral link, it would make people to think they are going to become rich by steemit and it isn't true.
