Good morning or night depending on where you are in the world.
I notice some people never repost others posts and I believe it may be because they have trouble finding their own on their blog home page.
One of the really nice features in Steemit is the ability to repost others posts and have them for reference later if we like, however, there is no way to sort them out. So when I scroll through someone else's blog it is hard to find their posts.
This happens on my homepage too when looking for an older post, it gets lost with the reposts.
If you also use beta.chainbb.com you won't see any resteems :-)
I would like that here too ... but I will check that out .. thanks
This is an ongoing debate.
Steemit is still in beta and as such any suggestions to improve the users ability to highlight their posts over others needs some thought. tip!
thanks :)
Hi @rebeccabe! @molometer is sending you 0.1 SBD tip and @tipU upvote :)
@tipU - send tips by writing tip! in the comment, get share of the profit :)thanks :)
I'm new to steemit and don't find it very user friendly yet. I'm ok with learning a new platform and feeling the growing pains. I have two problems (haha, I'll just mention two). The first, exactly what you wrote about, the cluttering of ones page and the second, no way to save a post.
I guess I'm so use to getting a button and looking at a list that this all feels so clumsy. At least we are all here going through the growing pains together.
thanks for your comment .. we must all presevere
It's a good point Rebecca, not easy to find the owner's post and our own...
I know . I like resteeming but it is hard to find other people's posts
I total agree with you, there should definitely be an option to separate the own posts from the resteemed ones.
I hope steemit will add such an option soon ;)
I agree. I try to do resteems and then post my own new content so that it stays toward the top of my page.
