6 People you should take distance from...

in #steemit5 years ago (edited)

I was not going to post this here. Actually, I wasn't going to publish this anywhere, I would just send it to my 13-year-old sister. This was written for her, but I think it might be a good idea to share it with you, I hope you find it helpful.

I write these words under my experience, maybe in a few years I will do an update or maybe not, I hope so ... Here we go:

1.- “Look at me, look at me…”:

These types of people are characterized by creating situations that generate scandals and attention calls for no apparent reason. The best we can do is get away from this type of people, it is better not to follow the game and avoid getting involved in their requests, because they can lead us to do things we don’t want and can even become very embarrassing. They are usually manipulative, but we'll talk about that later.

This is in most cases, caused by the low self steem of this people.

2.- “Yes, to all...”

It doesn't sound so bad, but it could become very dangerous ...

If you are such a dreamy person as me, you may have encountered these types of people, who, regardless of the risks, are totally in agreement with everything we think, dream or say, however crazy the situation may sound. They may have good intentions, but they don't realize that they are really hurting us by not helping us to see the positive and the negative of any decision. In general, with this type of people there is a certain degree of confidence, so it would not be very advisable to get away so fast, but we should avoid counting our plans and seek advice in the least suitable people.

Usually these types of people lack maturity, poorly defined personality.

3.- “Pessimist…”

I think it's good to always take into account the risks, the cons or the disadvantages of a decision, but there are people who will only see the negative, and not necessarily to protect us. The wrong people only do it by humiliating us, belittling us or simply disrespecting us for no reason. And somehow or another, unfortunately, many times they succeed.
Avoid talking to those who laugh or make fun of your dreams and desires. These only seek to lower your potential and make your confidence disappear with their sarcastic comments and low expectations.
.

4.- “Friends can't manipulate you…”

(It's just a joke)

Without a doubt I think that these are the worst people we can get, it is best to avoid them at all costs. They are manipulative, and seek to impose their point of view and control our thoughts, and decisions, seek to make us feel less, and often lead us to do things we did not want. It is not difficult to recognize them, since you can see that they focus too much on themselves. They are usually selfish.
.

5.- “I see through your lies…”

The big problem with these people is that you don't know when they tell the truth. They lie chronically. You can no longer trust their words, promises and oaths. It is better to get away.
.

6.- “You constantly judge others? ...”

There is a big difference between objective criticism, and judging simply to criticize others.

These people, judge as if they lived on that, look for in others, behaviors that reflect their personality and “defects”. We must also take into account that people who judge everyone tend not to listen to others, so it is very difficult to communicate with them. They will hardly prove you right.
. . .

If you read this far, thanks.
