I think you're right and I see it happening more and more. It is amazing how people with a couple thousand followers only get a hand full of views with an even smaller amount of votes. It's definitely a problem and if it continues people joining this site are going to get discouraged and will effect this platform's survival.

Absolutely @read3986, people will get discouraged and leave the platform entirely. That's happened already with a lot of wonderful bloggers I used to know, and it makes me feel a little sad. What they posted about was genuinely worth reading, but with such little response/feedback they eventually gave up (went back to their day jobs? Who knows?) That's what concerns me the most. That the genuinely interesting and decent bloggers will leave, and it will be a community of ego! Ugh!
I was getting pretty annoyed with writing the blogs that I did and the time I spent not having any views or making pennies. I'm still in my 2nd week on here but I think I have a grasp of the resteem services and bots. Staying consistent and producing quality content helps but you need to use bots and resteeming services to gain some sort of traction here from what I've gathered. I'm hopeful :-)
Yes, don't lose heart! It's hard when just starting out, particularly now. But things will improve... we'll make it better again!!!
