Well right after Hf19, everyone found out that you could get more steem power by doing a 50/50 post and then convert it to steem.
Well I guess that since then the steem price has droped significantly. So here is the nightly question. Should you be powering up or doing 50/50?
I always perfered powerup over the 50/50, I mean I am not going anywhere soon, this is not a get rich quick for me. However I do like having the steem power.
So for me its 100% power up from now on, untill the steem price starts going back up.
Let me know what you think, 50/50 or power up?
Also will this help the rewards pool? That might be a question for a friendly whale.

I always 100% when i don't post from steepshot, mightest well power it up if you need some always power down for 1 week
I think right now with the price of steem, you should 100 power up. Just my opinion.

From what I've read from all the experts, it's always best to 50/50. You get paid more if you do it that way.

Makes since. Most of what, I've read, says to go for steempower. I like doing the powerup conversion from steem to steempower.
50/50 still lets me get into the crypto market. Trading can be fun and you can always exchange it back to sbd
True, but the more steem, the higher the curator reward. I try to stay out of the sbd.
There is lots ways besides steem to get crypto juat takes time.

Well because if your post I had to go learn the difference and figure out how to switch between the two. So then it was time to ponder which way I want to go.
I still haven't come up with an answer . On one hand the 100%power up option appeals to me as I think being so new it would behoove me to increase my power to gan more influence quicker,however the 50/50 option gets me started into crypto sooner. Time to keep pondering I guess.
What do you mean by "gets me into crypto sooner" steem power is a crypto its carries the same weight as regular steem.
I do 50/50 now and will always, I think. I do it to pay @randowhale.
Lol..... i am guilty of that as well but I have gotten burned a few times this week by it. Anything below a 2%, you loose.
Switched to power up and will leave it until the steem price rises.

It depends on the price of SBD vs. USD. If SBD < USD, it's better to power up 100%. Otherwise, it's better to go 50/50 and then convert the SBD to STEEM. 👍👍
