I think your comment about getting cryptocurrency into the hands of the masses is spot on. My evidence? My 79 year old mother is posting on Steemit and having a ball. She's telling her friends about the "chain block"(not a typo) and is diving in head first. This platform makes it easy and fun to explore Bitcoin and Steem. That in itself is a huge accomplishment.
