This evening I've set up a meeting with a friend of mine to explain her about Steemit. I've told her about the platform last week, she just signed up for an account and she's waiting for the confirmation.
I did my best to explain her the basics.
She'll be writing about sexuality, body awareness, sensuality, erotic massage and other hot topics she's currently studying and blogging about already.

Yeah, I've noticed talking one on one to people works best in this case....and on many others :)
Otherwise it looks like scam if we post on facebook.

I am from Assam, India. We are surrounded by tea gardens. Probably you have heard of Assam Tea.
That's so cool, I would love to see a tea garden. I haven't heard about Assam Tea, but now I'll be looking for it.
Always great to see more females on Steemit! I've been telling my creative friends about Steemit first, letting them know it's a great platform to build an audience as the community is much more engaged here.
Then I've been mentioning the crypto aspect since that idea is foreign to them. I don't want to scare them off with all the crypto talk first. I'm finding this makes people far more receptive to the idea of going Steemit rather than starting off with 'making money blogging!' Which can come across and sound like a scam.
I agree, that's a good strategy! I told her a tiny bit about cryptocurrencies, but I assured her she doesn't need to become an expert in this topic to be here, build an audience and in time, get paid for that :)
