I love this post and comments section so hard. Just my .01, I'm not here for the money. Don't get me wrong, I won't turn it away because that's obvs someone showing support and love, but I'm here for the personal investment in the platform and the idea.

Days before I joined Steemit my finger was hovering over the delete account button on fb. I backed up my profile in case I later changed my mind. I haven't had the app for more than a year, and only didn't delete so I could lurk and read articles. I'm not trying to be noble or anything, just saying that I really hated Facebook at the end, I've never posted on Reddit, maybe twice on Twitter. Now I'm on social media everyday. Sure the money is incentivizing as hell, but what's being built here is going to change things the same way Bitcoin did, just a LOT faster.
