Any new platform that comes out & wishes to overtake Steemit will have to come up with something very special indeed, In truth I just cant see it happening. Steemit is already the whale in the pool as a platform, So long as it continues to develop & change with the times I don't know how it can fail. It depends which way it wants to go. Lets not forget the way it is now was good enough to get us all addicted to it, That means the people who are developing it at the top & the whales have done a good job up to now.
The minnows are going to moan because their market share is less but we didn't develop it into what it is already those that did are worth the reward in my opinion it must have been hard work, I couldn't of done it. We are being promoted too, I have still only been here less than a month & I can already see that things are improving for me my reputation is up my value is up & it's multiplying. We wouldn't be getting rewarded as often in a 9-5 capitalistic society job would we.
I reckon the whales are aware of what we are saying the information is at their fingertips why wouldn't they look if they can. If they haven't rewarded us it's because they haven't deemed us to be of that level yet & as disappointing as that may sound we are still all moving in the right direction & getting rewarded to some degree. They will be more than aware of the platforms troubles like scams & bots & I am sure that they are about as happy about it as we are. When these accounts start to spam up their feeds what action do you think they will take then? They have the power to shut them down instantly & if they think it's for the greater good of the platform & the protection of their own time & investment on the platform do you think they will? You can bet they will.
