Yeah, the whole sphere is a clusterfuck, and Steemit destroys it for sheer REALNESS.
I did learn a lot on Warrior Forum though. Mostly not to take anything at face value.
PTC (payed to click) pages are the same, almost all are scams. High risk of viruses and phishing! In addition, full of spam and ads.
Yeah. There's so much BS going on out there. Apart from a bit of spam and a turbulent version of "meritocracy", Steemit has so far been very rewarding for those who put in some good honest work.
