I know that there are some younger audience out there and that this post will no doubt get a bit of exposure, so it would be good to reduce the expletives where possible. But other than that I think there has already been enough voice raised about the performance of the platform and we do need to give them some time to fix it as well.
But it gives opportunities for other people to develop better applications to access the Steem blockchain and this should also lead to some good projects like utopian.io that @elear has been promoting and @busy.
Older guys curse also man it's not just the younger generations. We all get pissed off. Personally I've been holding that in for some time. I really felt that plenty of people have conveyed this plainly and without the expletives as you say.
I felt by expressing these issues using them I'm conveying the real frustration everyone is actually feeling without a sugar coat which is too often what I am seeing.
Hi @michaeldavid, sorry but I probably didn't explain my comment properly. What I meant to say was that I think there might also be young children reading stories or learning from channels like steemeducation and since I don't know if we have some type of parental control or censoring of material inappropriate for young children we might need to tone it down a little or express things in a different way but with the same effect. I have been doing this with my #infographics and hoping to turn some frustrations into creative energy instead. I am not a developer, but as a UX designer I am also trying to contribute to the improvement of the user interface design by providing suggestions to projects like utopian.io.
But I am glad to see people comfortable with speaking their mind on Steemit and most of the discussions and debate (and rants) I see are actually constructive and come from good intentions. I hope we can all continue to make this the community that we all know it can be :)
