Nike youngest (european) talent ever signed a contract for 5 years. His name is Shane Kluivert and he is only 9 years old (his brother Justin Kluivert also is signed by Nike). He play's in the youth program of PSG. Shane signed a contract that is comparible with what dutch football players get if they are 16-18 years old. Shane is already very polulair on social media (instagram over 118k followers). That could also be the reason wanted to sign him. Shane is a good soccer player for his age but he is only 9 years old so that is way to early tell if he can make it. Just look at Freddy Adu a.ka. The next Pele. What is become of him? He was 14 and the hype around him was huge. So nothing is for sure. What is for sure that Shane is a likeble young kid and he is a child star and a good football player (for his age) at this moment and Nike want's jump in to it because they see a potential young star in him or just a good marketing stunt.
You be the Judge!
