Will Steemit and DTube replace YouTube?

Today I want to talk about something that many think will happen. And that is they think Steemit and DTube will replace YouTube. I don’t think it will happen because YouTube is such a large video website. And if they would get a serious competitor then they can outcompete that site if they put some money into it.

But I do believe we are moving towards a new world with more competitive options online for video. Which will be perfect for the end consumer. But for content creators it probably will be better but one thing is for sure and that is that competition will still exist. Because humans are by nature extremely competitive. But at least we are moving forward in evolution.

I have been living successfully on YouTube since 2012 that website has been able to give me a platform to express myself. Now it seems like DTube and jwplayer will be my two new platforms to use. But I will also focus a lot on building up my own website which you could find on phoneinf.com.

I hope we see many other video platforms also popup on the internet. These new social media platform will be great for people that have a large fanbase. These new services offers an easier way to exchange value. I think that in the future we won’t even have money. We will just trade value extremely smooth and organic. We will look back at the money days and feel that it was such a bad system.

I also find it exciting how these new value exchanges will cause people to be more engaged in the content. It will become more like a video game than just being a passive consumer of online media. And less censorship will be amazing too I truly hope that it works out great and that the website doesn't get shut down!
