RE: Noganoo - Hero? Victim? Menace? And what about you?

Imo, the people we need right now are not those that quit because of their personal rewards. If he were engaged in the community in a positive, productive way, he'd be aware of the benefits of the flags for all the small accounts.

Steemit needs users that are interested in social interactions, not in what they can earn. There's enough of those.

So, other than being in beta, what is the reason, other than money, that someone should be on @steemit?

Being a part of building a project with great potential. The rewards will come when you do that consistently.
When you come here hoping for big money for a few posts, you will be disappointed. Now, and in the future.

Of course it'd have been great if he stayed. But the experiment brings a lot more positive results by giving people's vote a worth, creating engagement. Getting upset about it is not in the best interest of Steem and the community. He didn't care, so I don't care about him.

Forget about making money on Steemit. For now.Yes, @pharesim. Also see,

A guaranteed method to kill the social @steemit is to value the tech, math, experiment over people.

The experiment values people! Their votes have impact now.

Can't make everyone happy, that's life. I prefer when those that care about the platform are the ones who's catered to, not those with pure self interest.
