RE: The Steemit Daily Dose: THE STEEMIT DAILY DOSE HAS BEEN CANCELLED INDEFINITELY DUE TO WHALE FLAGGING - A collectivist Communist system of control with economic violence as its main weapon.

Often people don't see the other side of Steem's reward system for a while, the 'crab bucket theory', and it's a learning experience. Ultimately it's a social system and if your actions are perceived to be antisocial they might be countered. It's not communism, it's the same system that's brought you success. Learn the territory and adapt.

FWIW I don't believe I downvoted any of your recent successful posts. A few people came to me to point out the votes and timing of them, and I only reminded them that they can use their downvote if they disagree with rewards.

Afternoon @pfunk - thank God some non-flawed logic has entered the building. Half of Steemit is on the whale payroll with 50/50 deals here and 80/20 deals there with their Steem/SBD split. I have no problem with that, and neither should you. Open your eyes will you @pfunk

My problem is not with self voting via self or proxy, my problem is with flagging, and we have discussed this current flagging system in the past and called it the 'best worst' solution that we have, BUT WE MUST STRIVE TO DO BETTER! It's not about mud slinging. It's about sensible debate.

Thank you for passing by @pfunk - if we never speak again, I wish you all the best on your mission on here as I know you stay within your limits unlike the other SJWs on here!

Be free! MH

I'm not sure about half of Steemit's reward pool going to people sharing/buying upvote income. I think that is exaggerated. I don't have an absolute objection to it as the platform is an ongoing experiment with a fairly libertarian bias.

I don't know if such things will be good for the long term health of the network and its perception by people, both Steem users and potential Steem users.

Agreed, but some SJWs with large SPs are starting to make their presence felt and known. They are not a liberal as you might think @pfunk - they are your true enemy ... not the minority of game theorists gaming the system - that will always occur to some extent (apologies on the half approximation BTW, but you get the gist of my argument!)

Hey @pfunk and @mindhunter! Nice to read how you guys think about the flagging. I must say I mostly agree with MH and the dictatorial nature of Steemit should be addressed. But fear not, as new initiatives to this end are sprouting! Check out this project that is meant to encourage a more equal distribution of Steem Power and rewards active Curators in the proces!
