This is a favorite post of mine.
No surprise that votes keep growing whil posts go down. People probably start out being content creators and end up being consumers instead. In my opinion that's a healthy sign.
Wow, 10,000 new accounts per week for 2 months! That's >3% growth per week for 8 weeks in a row! Amazing!
Also, I actually like to see the total weekly posts going down- that means less spam. The weekly active users is still trending up. 14 posts/week/active user seems like a good number. Thanks for sharing!
Damn, 10k users in a week! that's incredible growth! Although interestingly, both new accounts and posts peaked in the 25-26th week, i wonder why? Does that suggest that a lot of people registered during that time period but haven't continued to post since then?
I think that's right.
Many people signed up when payouts were high right after the last hard fork. Since the payouts began to decline (as expected though), it seems some of them have stopped posting.
They are all fake profiles ... a plague for social
