I've got some interesting statistics about Steemit's usage. I hope this is helpful to determine the best time of the day to post your blogpost.
All data comes directly from the Steem blockchain and is based on UTC time.
1. Average number of posts and comments per hour (UTC time)

I am right with you. Good info but peak for me is at 7:00 AM as well.
I've noticed that you can begin your post and just save as a draft. Simple solution could be to write it the night before, and then push the "post" button as soon as you wake up, no? Something to think about. Best!
This is totally interesting. No wonder when I post articles while I live in Hawaii ... there's not much action. The 15:00 UTC translates to 5:00AM Hawaii time LOL. Not ideal for me, but I guess after seeing this chart, I should be posting around that time.
Also interesting to note that most activity falls Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday period.
What about also a list of users by country?

It's cool to see a breakdown like this. I love how you have all these cool stats for us, we need to start calling you the stat man. It makes sense that around 14-16:00 UTC is the most active because its night time in Asia and Australia while its morning in the America's. Keep the stats coming buddy.

Looking at this from a New York City timezone perspective. Posting just before lunch time is the best time.
I am a little surprised that Sunday is better than Saturday, but I guess I shouldn't be.

What is UTC time?
(I hesitate to guess what the T stands for)
UTC is the current time of the world. Local times are calculated from it.
Cool to see this breakdown... thanks! Alas, most of us around here are still pretty much asleep at peak times. But that might make for an interesting experiment... get up super early and see if posting at such times actually helps any...
