3. Daily accounts transacting
A 'transacting account' is a Steem account that made at least one transaction on the Steem blockchain. This can be a vote, post, comment, transfer, power up or sbd conversion. Users who only read from the Steem blockchain without interacting are not included. The actual number of 'Active users' is therefore much higher than the accounts transacting.

8. Steem Price Update
¯\___(ツ)____/¯ Follow me @penguinpablo for daily Steem statistics.
Good job 👍
That's a lot of new accounts in the last couple of days. I hope they are genuine users. It seems some scammers manage to create lots through Steemit. They should have to pay for those. I think generally things are going okay. I find lots of great people to follow and talk to.
Please please go look at @trufflepig. I recently started getting picked up by it for my weight loss posts and for my ulogs. This bot uses algorithms to determine posts on steemit that deserve higher payouts than they are getting. I’m hoping you and anyone can visit this blog and see if anything interested you on the daily posts. I have looked at many and agree they are good ones. (Not just mine of course)
Another daily post by @trufflepig focuses on what the “trending” tab would look like without bidbots and self-votes counted. That is an interesting read, and maybe you would like it too.
Thanks for taking a look if you do. Gasping minnows will be so thankful for any attention from you or anyone else big you know.
I'm stupid enough to mostly know minnows in my year here. Why I did not take the path of trying to suck up to big fish, I will never know.
I have seen @trufflepig before. It's just hard to keep up with all these things.
I used to think that...
I love the idea of Steem, but it's not easy to use.
Well a lot of people manage to use it. We're getting various apps that make it easier, but we have to make everyone aware that they are responsible for their own keys and have to keep them safe.
Please get an iOS app up and running. I understand Apple is hard to work with for developers, but I LOVE Apple hardware and most of my social media time is when I'm stuck in line waiting somewhere and I pull out my phone and start trolling. I could spend a lot more time on Steem with an iOS app.
The Steemit team were supposed to be working on one, but I've not seen any recent news
Happy to see improvement in New Accounts registration.
It is cool to see the number of new accounts!
Awesome as more new users means more investors

Great info, thanks for sharing!

Hey Penguin! I would love love love to have you on my show sometime. It's on hold for July and part of August, but when I'm back into gear on that, it would be great to have you come on and explain some of these fascinating statistics and what you think it might mean for our growth.
Are you on discord? I have several questions for you, also with regards to Steem Monsters as well.
Thank you for your invitation, but I'm not interested to be honest.
I wonder why the recent spike in new accounts? That is quite a jump. Does that represent requests to create new accounts, or new accounts that were approved and created?
All new accounts created on steemit.com are manually approved by Steemit Inc. We see a spike when they clear their backlog.
