I tell ya, that Steem Dollar is such a boss, and I wonder how high it will go this time around, or whenever the next bull run starts firing up?
Do you know why SBD likes to fly above $1? It's supposed to be pegged to the USD.
Because it's a free market, and it could go as high as it wants, because it's publicly traded.
Interesting that SBD is flying lately, still don't really understand why SBD gets a premium

SBD totally depends on BITCOIN?
Most/all altcoins depend on the value of Bitcoin. Hopefully Steem will be more independent from BTC in the future when we grow bigger!
As a rule the coins move as a group, so when bitcoin drops so do the rest (as an average) its sort of a sector leader. Much like when gold drops in price, so does silver, platinum, palladium and copper.
I think Steem should have a few more coin pairings in addition to BTC/STEEM and STEEM/SBD
Wish there was a STEEM/ETH pairing on Bittrex

Good that we're getting more and more new users. About STEEM price... These days I spend all my SBD for STEEM and now SBD is mor than steem, guess that was a newbie move.
I wouldn’t say it’s a newbie move but SBD and STEEM has had a bigger price gap before. It can be hard to be patient in the crypto world

SBD was at $5,49 this morning and then dropped a dollar in the span of 2 hours. I was so excited and when I looked again I was like, "Nooooo!"

I think that steem has the best potential of all the coins. If we keep gaining adoption at this rate and integrate smts into the blockchain i see stemm being very valuable in the future.
