9. Steem Price Update
The average number of posts per day has really grown since May, is that due to something Steemit did or is it simply because interest in cryptocurrencies grew a lot as a whole since then?.
I think it's both.
The greatest surge came right after the last Hard Fork when payouts were temporarily a lot higher. This attracted many new users.
I hope you are right, and new users will push up the cryptos value!

Is there any chance of using some data mining based algorithms to project future users at specific dates, such as Christmas or New Year? I'm interested to see where this platform is expected to be.

How do you calculate daily active users?
An 'active user' is an account that has added at least 1 transaction to the Steem blockchain. This can be a vote, comment, transfer or anything else.

HUGE jump on the 16th for sbd being converted to steem power. Steem is growing faster than I thought it would! Love it. Makes me want to buy more. Haha
SBD went below $1 on that day, making it profitable to do conversions. The people doing conversion before that day likely didn't understand that there's an internal market which lets you trade Steem Dollars for Steem instantly.
