It truly is interesting how something can spread over the internet without ever talking to a single person about it in "real life". I found Steemit because google kept leading me here over and over..
Finally I made an account so I could engage the community..and quickly found the potential in producing content. Super cool post- really shows how popular this is going to become, its the next "big thing".
These charts are very informative and intereseting. Awesome to see steem growing and growing!
I had not been at Steemit for quite some weeks. Then came back to check on my STEEM value. It's not that much as compared to some people. BUT in US dollar, it had increased by 200% or so! Not bad at all.
My Steem Power had also increased. Instead of a mere 1 cent for upvotes, I'm able to give 4 cents to others now (although it has reduced to 2 cent at the moment). Now I'm hesitant about withdrawing the STEEM and selling at Bittrex. There's a nice feeling when I can upvote the posts and comments I like, knowing the people writing these will feel appreciated.
SBD down to $9... Hope it shoots up again

I'm hoping STEEM would catch up with SBD. For months at Bittrex, the former was actually higher in price than SBD! I'm kicking myself for not buying SBD also...at a time when it was sleeping at $0.90.

Thanks for the update @penguinpablo. Steemit is experiencing quite a climb in active users, posts, and upvotes. Also lots of powering up going on which is good too.
