No he most certainly does not deserve it. Outside of the fact that I don't agree with laws that impede free commerce among free individuals, the government's case was incredibly poor against Ross. You had corrupt agents who have since been prosecuted themselves leading the investigation. There's also huge issues with how they identified Ross. Beyond any of that he was the first person I know of to be charged for what his users did on a hosted site. Ross wasn't dealing drugs himself and only hosted a site that enabled others to do so. If this is the case then any platform could be held responsible for their users action which is unjust. I pray that Ross is released and justice be served.
