You've probably heard Mario Savio's famous speech, if not, here is the recording in it's full, manic glory.
"There's a time when the operation of the machine becomes so odious, makes you so sick at heart, that you can't take part! You can't even passively take part! And you've got to put your bodies upon the gears and upon the wheels…upon the levers, upon all the apparatus, and you've got to make it stop! And you've got to indicate to the people who run it, to the people who own it, that unless you're free, the machine will be prevented from working at all!"
These words resonate with me, and chill me to the bone with their conviction.
The real question, of course, is how to discern if we are free humans - or part of the machine!
Perhaps this other brilliant speech can shed some light on the matter.
Just thought I would share, for those who haven't seen these, or those who needed a little inspiration.
Free your minds, and keep on Steeming!

what machines have sickened you so?! I love machines. I for one love machines. Machines have saved my life, machines are responsible for me having disposable income and leisure time. I can go weeks without human contact with the right machines to keep me busy.
Weird but ok 😃
