Quite a lot of newbies came onboard wth a misguided expectations. Some came to steemit with the thought that it's a get rich quick scheme, without telling them it's about hardwork and quality content. Thanks for this @indigoocean

Yes, I guess it's all in the initial expectations that caused them to join. It's so unfortunate that often the people who need an opportunity the most are the very ones who can't recognize one for what it is when they encounter it. They want it to be "free money for nothing" so they miss the chance to earn money sitting at home, just using their brain!
