The next door neighbor drives a car that turns heads and you don't own one as spotty. This situation gets very common across board. The articles in question may differ but the underlines - discontent remains.
Desire for a better life is a primary desire of we mammals in the animal kingdom. Everyone wants better options. That's not an issue. The issue ensues when you go above your means and above board just to meet up with "societal" placements. You buy things you don't need on credit so you can please people who don't care about you. I have been there and done that. But I have realised one bottom line. All you do is add pressure to your already highed-up pressure.
The bible says something I think bears application : "godliness with contentment is great gain".
How true this is in this time and season when things and gadgets are adding up faster than we can catch up.
You don't need that extra luxury sweetheart.
I realise the difference between here and there is the " T". This significies time. Its all a matter of time. You will get all your heart desires. But right now, learn to be content with what you have. You need to stay at peace without all the extra pressure of struggling to make ends meet. Staying in your zone gives you the privilege of getting to your destination faster. The only person you have got to please is YOU. Practise contentment. When the urge to over extend yourself comes, shake it off with "I am going to get there in my due time". Feel good about you and carry your shoulders high and watch life align to get you all you ever wanted. Be you ... Always
