Welcome to Steemit.
It takes time to figure it all out so take your time. My best advice is to post original content, Photography, art work, music, poetry, discussion on crypto currencies. Don't ask for upvotes or follows you will get those with great content. Try to only upvote on 10 posts per day to keep your Voting Power high ... as you accumulate Steem ... Power up to Steem Power so that your votes are worth more.
Have fun.
When you start out make sure you comment on really great content so people know you are there. Make sure your comment relates to the post you are commenting on.
Join some photography contests hosted by @kus-knee to meet a lot of other awesome Steemit people.
Steemit is the best thing ever created .... So you are very fortunate to have discovered it.
Thanks, great advice.
Much love and light,
X
Thanks for dropping by. Hope it helps
This is the post that i needed. Thanks for your advice. I'll try to apply it. Im new here
If this post helps you and you think it might help others then resteeming is also good.
I'm relatively new here also.... only 6 months
A (61) rep after only 6 months is really impressive. It's going to take me a while to get there and I joined a month after you.
Not sure how the reputation ranking works - all my efforts are spent on posting original content and sending any rewards to power up.
I don't think its related to your power up level, but not sure
Thanks for sharing your insight. As a Steemit noob, I'm looking to learn from those with more experience and find my place on the network. Curious as to your strategy relating to the 'Power Down' feature. I've heard others suggest methods of starting and stopping the process, but didn't fully understand. Cheers.
I never ever Power down.
Interesting. Thanks.
I watch the price difference between Steem and Steem Dollars and trade each other on the Internal Market to make 10-700 % each Trade.
Thanks, I'll have to follow these price variances more closely.
I am very happy if I can exchange 1Steem Dollar for 1.1 Steem using the Market Button on my Steemit Wallet. 10 % per trade is good if you ask me.
Good to know, thanks. Yeah, I'd take 10% per trade all day long! Cheers,
Nice post. Thanks for advise. I always follow those.
Thank you for sharing! It all seems a bit daunting - I'm a newbie who is trying this out after creating art for Print On Demand sites for the last 7 years, it was going really well but it seems to be fizzling out now so I'm having a run at Steemit. Adaptability and all that :) Thanks again.
