There was some discussion under one of the postings by photo-trail about copyrights to photos, see here.
Photo-trail's main counter-argument was: "I'm a lawyer, I know this is OK, who are you?", plenty enough to irk me, but maybe my fuse is too short.
He has since given the option to be quoted by link rather than by transcluded photo.
Still, I don't like all this meta-stuff much.
I think Nspart was telling me about this a few days ago and I misunderstood what he was talking about!
Nspart was the one who brought up the question of legality and payout sharing for these photo-trail posts that consist mainly of other people's work, copied without prior permission.
I hope you didn't misunderstand in dangerous ways 8-).
No I can understand his point of view. If the trail is getting larger payouts than the original posts it can raise some questions.
