Let's face it search engines drive a huge amount of traffic so if they are starting to recognize Steemit as an important site this will drive more traffic which will increase it's importance which will drive more search traffic which will.... I think you get the picture. As I've said elsewhere today, I think 2018 will be the year Steemit gets real recognition. All the derivative projects like DTube, and DMania are really starting to drive traffic it's way and get the worlds most busy blockchain in the hands of billions who have not yet discovered it. The social media future will be decentralized!
