Definitely agree with you on most points, particularly the hating on other social media haha I became very disillusioned with it all and came to realise the only people that truly profit are the big organizations. I like the fact that Steemit is ad free too, FB over the years has started implementing more and more ads over time and it's now become a joke.

One thing I'd disagree with you on though (and I'm rather envious of your success without them so fair play congrats lol) but I do think voting bots are just a necessary evil of the platform. Nearly all the main whales on the trending page like banfield etc. use them for extra visibility etc. so I think they can be a way to help people gain that visibility, especially when starting out and you want to make your posts reach more people.

It's just a matter of fact too that psychologically people are more likely to check out something that's already got $10 or so upvotes, opposed to $0, because they'd assume it's worth reading. It gets the ball rolling essentially.

I may have misunderstood what you meant by bot abuse though tbf. Because although I do use bots I use them in a reasonable and sustainable way for the community. Obviously forcing bot upvotes on terrible spammy content is abuse and is annoying. Same goes to bot rules in regards to upvoting times, buying upvotes before 30mins or after 3.5 days is frowned upon by the community and rightly so.
