hmm let me try to put it in a very simple way. Whenever you want to surf the internet you someone to process the data you put in and that´s what the Witnesses are doing, they process your data so that you can enjoy the benefits of Steem. Of course it´s all happening in the background so that we as normal users don´t have to care about it at all :)
and whether or not my chosen witness can find me. that I have chosen him as a witness for me? and what if a steemians did not take a witness even though only one person. oya, the more we have witnesses will be enough baika or even worse. sorry I'm disturbing your time @steembusiness. :)
too add to the points of @steembusiness the comments that you are making on this post will be recorded in a many locations. Those locations are handled by the witness servers. in other words your work is recorded and kept by the witnesses
