Okay now I understand. There I was almost afraid I had been 'phished' when I accidentally logged into steemitstage. I then did a little research on it and found out that it was part of the process of dev. I'm glad you are bringing it up again. That happened after your post warning us against ...'phishermen'...lolx

    Hahaha yes. Steemitblog wrote about it in conjunction with steemitdev. Overall, for thirdparty apps make sure to look out for v2.steemconnect integration in the URL for the sign up part

      Just learnt something new
      Checking out for v2.steemconnect in every URL
      I know theses guys are smart but will check for every letter in the integration in the URL
