Around a year back it was the time when I was desperately looking out for a job. I had a nice hefty paying job back home in India, but when my husband shifted to Muscat I joined him. I had to quit my job, and I was very confident that I would get something or the other here, but due to certain country laws it was getting difficult.
There were no finance issues, but when you have your hands and schedule full and then suddenly you become empty leaves you exposed. Though my Crystals & Counselling work was always on but I had never thought of making that my source of income. And with the new country again to get yourself known for your work is not easy.
It was just getting on me that I was not doing anything substantial. I was more or less trying to fill up my days by doing something or the other but at the end of the day there was no satisfaction and contentment to what I was doing. It felt like I was spread all over aimlessly. I had set some long term goals for me and I felt like they were all coming down and falling apart.
July 2017 was when I joined steemit. It was recommended to me by my husband, and he told me, you like to write so why not try it out. At first I was very sceptical, but gradually I started and yes I had my share of setbacks, hits everything, and in the initial months my enthusiasm was also very less as I was not seeing much traction. I felt like I was a drop in the ocean going unnoticed and my content does not mean anything.
But gradually towards October the pace build up, then gradually by Dec I saw myself gaining speed, and now I am completely involved here with all my heart. And all this has happened with a lot of extra efforts put in.
Now I see myself settled here, have understood the system well, just like you would take time to settle down in any job and start functioning 100% over a period of time.
I absolutely now have no intention of getting back to a full time 9 to 5 job. I have been also recommending my friends specially those who would wish to have a consistent earning and at their pace.
Like any job or business I now dedicate few hours in the day to my steemit work. I plan my post in a way that it keeps giving me consistent earning. I do not keep this attitude that I will be doing this in my free time, I give complete priority to my work here.
Benefits of being on steemit over your regular job is
- You work at your own terms and at your own time
- You get an ability to express and write all that you feel
- You get paid for the amount of efforts you put in
- It takes care of the inflation, as the steem price rises so does the value of your earning.
- Yearly bonus, increments all gets taken care off by the consistent rise in steem price.
- You are your own boss.
- It gives you complete work satisfaction as you write only what you enjoy.
- You get to know new people and be friends with them across the globe
- There is a continuous learning with so much of knowledge out there and real life experiences being shared
I guess these many are more than enough for one to go full swing on Steemit
It has been my observation here that every single individual who has put their heart in this work and consistently made efforts have gradually risen up.
Moreover for me I have found back my lost confidence. I feel empowered and in control. I feel freedom in every way, and a lot more.
This platform gives an opportunity from your journey of nothing to everything.

nainaztengra.. Way to make something happen. Follow successful people is one sure way to be a success. Yes I think with small investment in Steem and a ability to use imagination positive attitude one could make substantial income here. I'm a bran newbie but so far this platform has been one of my most pleasant crypto experiences. Again I applaud you!

It must be a great job - but it needs a lot of courage to take the risk. I hope it will be rewarding for you also in the future!
Thank you very much @chryptomark. I wish you too all the very best :-)
Very motivational for everyone here on Steemit, you obviously working hard creating your posts and also go the extra effort to promote them to the many friends and followers you have developed here on Steemit. This is an important aspect to your success as well I feel, you are not afraid to reach out to the people you enjoy the work of on Discord - and share your content that way. It's easy as well all become so busy on Steemit for us to forget our favourite content creators or miss their work - a friendly reminder can work wonders. Keep working hard.
#thealliance
With people like you around to support I don't think one can see a failure. Yes but for sure it needs a lot of connect, its not possible to keep tracking your favorite ones content as it just keeps pouring day in and out, so reminders are better to be not missed out :-)
Well My great Friend @nainaztengra i joined the steemit casually but later on i feel that it has turned into the preference of my life. I am ateacher by profession after coming bac from school i just took rest for one hour and then start my journey on steemit as it is just like ocean the more the explore, the more you learn new things.
Freedom of choice and rewards are the biggest sources of attraction. So, i do believe that in near future i am also going to quit my job and would love to become 24/7 steemain ;)
You are doing really great with your husband in muscat My Indian Freind, i am so proud of you.
P.S: You are the best example of women-empowerment Naina ;)
My Support is always with you
Stay Blessed, Steem On!
@salmanbukhari This is a great platform for you as a teacher I expect .Do you have any strategies that have worked for you for getting the information out to to masses ,about this brilliant platform that we can all contribute to the growth of the block-chain , as well as help- the value rise .
That's great to read, but if teaching is your passion, I think you should continue in whatever small way also if you can. For your steemit journey I am sure you will make it big soon, you just need to keep it going.
I believe if I can do it then anyone can do it, so for sure success is there out waiting for you.
Thanl you very much for those kind words @salmanbukhari
Well thank you so much for your appreciation and yes i would continue teaching & study side by side guys :)

It is very inspiring indeed. I too am a homemaker and look after my mil who is a dementia patient. In my spare time, I login to steemit. It has actually helped me to not lose my patience and all because I am the only full time caretaker. stay blessed and some day I hope to make it big here and help my husband.
I wish steemit brings you success and you are able to fulfill all your aspirations. You will do well I am sure, just keep on working, may be sometimes you may feel things are not shaping up, but don't give up. Your consistent efforts will help you achieve your goals
Yes true, it can be full time job if you are passionate about writing and ready to give your 100%. And yes work must be regular despite of not getting return. Luck also plays a role. Good post, thanks for sharing!
Thank you Chetan. I wish you good luck and success :-)
Yes! Steemit can be a full time job and ofcourse is a full time job for many.
Glad you outlined great benefits of Steemit over conventional jobs.
Thank you for reciprocating on my thoughts @mickyscofield
It's awsome that we live in times when we have so many places to earn money by doing what we love.
True, its just unbelievable of how varied opportunities we have today which we could have not even imagined of a few years back
Very inspiring post, thank you! I am quite new here and would really appreciate constructive feedback on my blog from more experienced person. If you don't mind, please take a look and get back with your feedback. Thank you in advance!
Thank you @sadovskaya for visiting my blog. I wish you good luck and success.
I did read your blogs and they are interesting and positive
Followed you ,up-voted & resteemed you .I would be interested to hear what your strategies are & (were at the start ) to add to your followers so as to get more reach .This is a very inspirational story of a Women finding her way & not giving up . If OK with you any women in my friends circle trying the same I will share your story to help them .
Honestly 4 months I made lot of mistakes and hardly progressed, but I found some good kind hearted people on the way who gave me a helping hand in terms of guidance, and then the only thing I was doing was connecting with people on discord, post promotion channels, direct message. Initially people used to not respond, but i used to keep following my network blogs and ensure that I would reach out to all those who would comment and upvote my post. That's all I did :-) All the criticism that I got in the beginning I only tried to take it in a positive and constructive manner
Thank you for your prompt reply .A friend & myself are working this together gathering some friends who know us . A great idea I was also considering to keep interacting with people even if at first they do not respond .Also do you know of the tool you can use to give you some steemit statistics ? https://steemworld.org/@ after the @ put in your username .
Yes @sbyse, I am aware of this tool and use it regularly :-)
Steemit has helped me sustain during difficult times too! I have my ups and downs on posting and am working out on how to make this a regular thing too. Your progress is inspiring Nainaz ✨😊
Thank you Hardik, I wish you good luck and success. I am sure you will progress and be able to achieve your dreams :-)
Ya we know the power steemit it becomes more bigger platform and helps to many others people from whole world thanks for sharing @nainaztengra.
Thank you @vipins and I wish you all the very best for your journey :-)
Great article! I know a few people in Vietnam where $10 a day on steem are helping them to sustain their family, its amazing what this is doing for them. Keep up with the good work @nainaztengra . Love!
That's very true, some people are struggling so much just for the basics, so why not try it out here. The success ratio is much higher provided you work. Thank you @katehuynh.
Great, Indeed it gave me a helpful income out of a fun, part-time writing habit too... I enjoy reading people's experiences of using this platform
That's great to read @bitpost
It would be absolutely amazing if Steemit could be a "full-time job" but that's too risky.... having other tasks/jobs/roles can help you build your blog and it can also help with creating better content.... only the Steemit whales could possibly consider this as a full-time career.....
would be great getting a job in steemit. good post
Wonderful story. It really touched my heart. In the beginning, exactly where I am at now, it is just necessary to read such stories as yours, knowing that this is just the beginning of the path and in the beginning for everyone it was the same hard. It helps to understand that there is no other choice on this way besides moving straight forward .
Great post! I think steemit can be your job because you make such great informative posts.
Thanks for providing the inspiration I need to finally quit my job!
You are right, with steemit many people have no previous activities, can now do something there. And it can benefit and dig up knowledge and be more adept at writing.
That's very right. As steemit grows everyone here also will grow :-)
Very excellent article story struggle
I have wonderful tips
I wish you the end of the happy days
Thank you @roselover
Great post! I already quit my regular job to focus on steemit. :)
I hope you have not made a hasty decision and have got your base well set on steemit. I wish you good luck and success @mysearchisover
Maybe a little bit hasty. lol 20/20 hindsight I might have waited to quit. Live and learn. As long as my bandwidth regenerates I think I will be ok.
Držím ti palce a přeji hodně úspěchů do další práce tady na Steemitu ;-)
Can Steemit become your full time job?
NO
Thank you for your suggestion @mahmoudh
I hope I will soon have the status you have now. Congratulations!
My best wishes for you @christianyocte, if you have the will and desire and a clear plan for yourself anything will be possible :-)
Steemit is another source of acquiring money
Don't spend your life in it

hi @nainaztengra
i like your post
i wish for your success
@nainaztengra
thanks for the sharing your exp. with us
now a days i m struggling and frustrated bcz not getting positive response from other steemians
hope u understand
Please take it easy, sometimes you need to be more practical rather than being emotional. I can understand what you are going through, almost everyone here goes through the same experience, unless you join with some known fellow steemians, for someone who is very new here with no known members it surely is a struggle, but you should not give up. Keep posting your content at regular intervals consistently, you will surely build up your network and grow.
I wish you all the very best :-)
thanks @nainaztengra
I am glad that you found your way. You are offering a great service to the Steemit community!
Thank you @chefsteve
Well said. I'm beginning to realize similar advantages of investing my time on Steemit and related sites like Steepshot, DMania & more. Thank you for sharing your thoughts so sincerely!
Thank you @acdevan for sharing your inputs and wish you loads of success :-)
Inspirational story @nainaztengra.being new it give me motivation to keep going..
I am sure you will do good, just hold on there even if things dont look good at the moment @cryptogeek001
I enjoyed reading his outstanding post,
Thank you
First of all thank you for supporting my post. Secondly, thanks for sharing a slice of your life with me. Finally congratulations for being able to work on your own terms.
Thank you @amarbir for your warm wishes
I guess all the minnows go through this. What really matters is not give up and put more and more effort into steemit. I hope I see same success as you one day.
I am sure you will, everyone grows here depending on the efforts you put @naysayer
Thanks nainaz for this motivating post. I understand how much persistency you would have got to contribute here. I know for sure only hard efforts will pay you. But with all hard efforts we will also need persistency. You are one good role model.
Yesterday I posted an article spending more than 2 hours researching and reading. Today morning I was a bit low thinking if should I still continue. Today evening I forgot about my previous articles and have again started to work on my next article. Reading your post now adds a little more boost to my persistency. Thanks nainaz. :-)
That's great @bala41288, trust me once you will have your network build up you will have no looking behind, reach out to people of your same interest and they will reciprocate, after all like you everyone needs support here. Its not possible to move up alone, everyone needs each other's help, only thing is you need to start connecting with people more and more on individual basis and make yourself visible.
Yeah, I wish I could steem for a living!
Maybe in the years to come I can reach that goal.
Keep steeming on!

I am sure you will @dadview
great job you have saved alot of time for house wives especially
Yes it is a good start up for housewives, they will be more independent :-)
Very nice, informative and useful article for newbies like me. I think it will take time to establish as a reputed steemer. I have seen posts earning $1k within seconds. Steemit definitely a good platform but my opinion is that it can be treated as an extra source of income besides full-time job.
Yes @manhan2009 you need to establish first and then earnings come by itself, so initial months you should focus more on setting your foot firmly and then think about increasing your earnings :-)
Thank you, I started here this month and your words give me courage to continue.
Wish you all the very best @rastalady
Your post is the second in a row where I have pulled out the main points about being consistent with steemit, which is something personally that I did not to and regret it.
But I have maintained my efforts this week and feel good about it, thank you also for pointing out all the benefits this should be printed out and hung on the wall of every steemian to remind ourselves why we do this.
You will need to not only do it for weeks but may be months also till you start seeing good amount of progress and I am sure this is possible. I wish you all the very best @crazybgadventure
Somethimes I'm very proud that I have a friend like you!
Thank you @prostosun, those are very kind words and gives me very good feeling. The feeling is mutual :-). You are among the first ones with who I have connected and we have come a long way and hope to continue
You are do a good job nainaz..your post is just on point. I am following you please do same.
Thank you @itini
