Tips and Tricks

Don't get frustrated!

It is important that you keep your cool when you don't see money rolling in on your first few posts. Like anything this all takes time and work. A few people out there will get lucky, but the majority won't. On my first two posts I didn't see any real activity until the end of my first day.

Understand what you are doing!

If you don't know whats going on make an effort to understand. There is a lot of lingo on here and it is easy to get confused. I'm still learning as I go and there is a lot that I myself do not understand. I'm just working to make sure I understand so I'm not left behind and frustrated(See above.)

Work Hard!

Steem is like anything else. You get back what you put in. I'm not saying treat it like a job, but if you want to succeed you'll need to devote time to it. There are few free hand outs in this world. If you work and succeed then you won't be to worried about hand out and if one comes along it's like a bonus!

Crypto Currency

There are several forms of crypto currency out there. The most familar will be the bitcoin. Here on Steemit we get Steem Dollars. These have real world value and can be traded for bitcoins which can be traded for real tangible currencies!
