Write a sixty word orbituary of Herbie - the Love Bug.
Just stick to these instructions, apart from that, everything is up to yourself. Make up the missing parts, and create a convincing piece of text. To participate in the contest, submit your Story under the #writingchallenge tag and link it down here in the comments.
The Price
All money (Steem Dollars) raised by this post in the first payout period (12 hours) will be distributed amongst the top 3 participants.
- The story with the most upvotes will get 60% of the collected Steem Dollars
- The story with the second most upvotes will get 25% of the collected Steem Dollars
- The story with the third most upvotes will get 15% of the collected Steam Dollars
Regulations
- No plagiarism
- To determine the winners, the upvotes on their stories will be counted.
- Contestants with fake/botted upvotes will be disqualified. If these upvotes were obviously made by one of these annoying spam bots, I will try to exclude these votes from the counter.
- If no money is collected by this post, no payouts can be made, obviously.
- Stories that don't relate to the task at all will be disqualified.
- Every user may only submit one story.
- This contest ends on the 7. of August 2016, 12PM UTC. Later submissions will not be taken into account.
- The winners will be announced on the next day, and will receive their prices as well.
Motivation
Lately, there have been a lot of articles saying that people should just write whatever they want, and not to focus on "catching a whale". This is an attempt to bring some attention to quality authors. If the idea is adapted well by the community, this might become a regular thing.

Herbie - the Love Bug - This well known insect died this morning at a busy intersection in a tragic accident.
His short life was full of joy and harmony.
Herbie leaves behind a loving family of 2 wifes and 1527 children.
Herbie's legacy will live on and the society of beetles will forever appreciate his works and example.
