There are many bots that seem to do some useful things around steemit and then there are those other ones.

Everyone I assume without exception is here to make money initially and honestly that is their primary drive. There is nothing wrong with that at all.
The whole purpose of the website is to redistribute cash to those that need it and have the time to post.
One thing far too many people have is plenty of time and no money.

As you know not everyone has the cash to buy steem to increase their influence on steemit but they do have the time and can make good progress.

My steem power is down to 20% and if I give you an upvote it may actually be detrimental?

What I can do is resteem this post and hopefully get your message out to at least a few more people.

This is a very honest post and should be very instructive to all newbies and a few steem veterans. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.
