The new blogging and social networking website using technology based blockchain database, known as Steem. Steemit runs on top of a decentralized network named Steem. Like Bitcoin, Steem is a blockchain with transferable tokens.

It's not event reaching Facebook 1% market cap, but bare in mind, Steemit gone out just for a year, and is catching up what Facebook is doing. Certainly, many people or the public do not even have the idea what Bitcoin is, or Steemit currently.
As time goes by, cryptocurrency will emerged as a new form of monetary system. Those who grab the opportunities at the right moment will be the next millionaire or even billionaire for the next decade as things unfold.
Dear steemtors (steemit users), we are certainly in an exciting timeline where, prosperity wealth will be transferred to the right person if he/she make the right choice in holding the right currency.

My opinion is that while Steemit will not outright eliminate Facebook, it will be an alternative to it. To those who wish to join a network of like-minded people in their respective niche, with no fear of censorship, while actually making money in return for the content they produce.
