I really think that Steemit needs to get better quality content. Also, adding a bot that goes around and flags content that's an exact copy of previous posts.

@missioncontrol you're right, but the problem of spam is a commonplace of all web portals.
At least on steemit there is the possibility of having curators of your posts, this is a very positive thing.
However, steemit is still a young platform, if it will emerge worldwide, improvements will certainly be developed.
Good start of 2018 🎇🎆👋👋
Yes. It would be interesting if they added new features, which could make it more mainstream (such as a tripadviser-like review platform) and accounts for companies.
I believe that the features of steemit will be evaluated in the future, depending on the type of catchment area will attract. How to say .. If steemit in the future will only attract restaurant owners and enthusiastic people to go out and eat, then it is a good idea to implement a restaurant feedback and rating system.
If the catchment area is for the most part people interested in shopping can consider creating a small ecommerce within their own steemit account where they promote their products.
The features added to a tool like steemit is something directly proportional to the type of audience present.
So I think that devising new features and discussing it does not make much sense, precisely because the functionality of a community on the web varies only depending on the type of audience in it.
It is always necessary to follow the wave not to row against 🤙
