A nice read that kept me focused and thinking. I also like your writing style: coveying the messge easier using comparisons, to be precise dungeon/ game etc. as you mention it in the post. I do agree with you, I'm one of those "minnows " trying hard to make this a better place to live( some people use this platform more than some play Pokemon Go...), yet I'm not the "average Joe" that's gonna give up just like that, I will continue to strive for improvement, continue to contribute to this community with quality that's nowadays overlooked but for those of us who know that it's value goes beyond the amount of "likes" or "vote ups" it receives is far greater. The solution to the bot problem you proposed Is amazing, I really like how you compare the current "bot system" as a bunch of stray dogs running wild and free and how this post Aims to give each of them a home, health and a owner that will take good care of them. I know my reply is long, but one more thing. You are a genius for making this easy to understand so that everyone gets the message. This post made me a follower and it gave me even more hope that this platform will continue to improve and that It will survive. I'm looking forward to read more from you!
Cheers!

@minion Never, ever apologize for a lengthy reply, at least to me. I appreciate it because it means you put time and effort into your reply. I had to create this post because there is evidently a 16kb limit to comment size. I guess I am nothing if not prolux.
I'm really happy you like my writing style. When you have time you should check my blog @williambanks
This isn't one of my better works though. I mean I can see that everyone enjoyed it and I know I am very passionate about it. But stylistically it's choppy and could really do with a good edit. I ran myself to exhaustion getting it out and never had a chance to grammar check it or spell check it, or get it in front of an editor. So it's just raw I guess.
If you're interested, my personal favorite blog entry is Mud, Blood and Glory! which I wrote and then @casandrarose edited, I hope you'll enjoy that one too.
I greatly appreciate the compliments and I am flattered. But I'm no genius. I just happened to touch a nerve when I saw some connections that were being missed. The real genius comes from each of us doing everything we can to make this place better. :)
BTW I upvoted this... https://steemit.com/life/@minion/3-month-old-deaf-baby-hears-mother-s-voice-for-first-time-and-gives-the-sweetest-smile
It's fascinating to see the various experiments people are using this platform for.
I will check on your blog entry later and give it some proper feedback, but for now I have to focus on finishing a project I've been doing for a day now. The new Steemit post is aimed at promotion that will help get steemit out to the masses.
@minion looking forward to seeing it!
