Eventually they will totally destroy their business. Blockchain social media is the future in my opinion. I honestly think Steemit and others will completely replace the legacy platforms in a few years time.
At the moment Steemit is stealing a few crumbs from the youtube table, but that will switch to the FULL BREAKFAST over time I'm sure :)
It's very early days for Steemit, I agree.
