The 44-page white paper is a great learning resource, but I think we need a handy one-or-two sentence description that clearly explains what Steem is, how it works, and why it is revolutionary. A carefully thought-out, short description will help enable us to spread the word about Steem more effectively and bring new users on board.
When introducing Steem to friends, they often ask me how the incentive model works, which I am still unsure on how to concisely explain.
I've included below a description from Steem's website that we can use as simple starting template:
