I think what a lot of people fail to realize when they start pretending is how hard it is to KEEP pretending.

Once you invent a fake persona, you have to keep it going, keep the illusion from flaking off (like the paint on papa's truck). Eventually you either become the persona for real, or you are found out and scorned.

Why not just be yourself and express your varied interests? we all gotta eat, so a guy making sandwiches has appeal. There is something interesting about even the person who considers themselves to have nothing to share. Steem gives us an opportunity to find what that is, share it, and be rewarded for sharing.

Kudos for continuing to be you @papa-pepper! You are a great example for people to point to in showing that doing what you love and sharing it with others works!
